@Tomek – thanks, great tip on using Exchange on the iPhone. I use MobileMe to have my iPhone in sync with my mac.

I have push-email turned off though. I don’t like it when email is pushy and tells me I should check it. I’m checking it when I choose to. This way I’m not a slave to email.

@Daniel – seems to me you need to introduce an “inbox processing” habit for your photo and voice notes.

I have been using something called “Jott” (http://jott.com) to capture my voice notes. They do a fantastic job of translating the voice note into text. And Jott works with Nozbe! (but you already knew that!)

I use kind of the same setup.

I use a checkbook wallet with a pen and paper and I use the Omnifocus software for iPhone and mac.

One thing I have found out is that when using photos and voice recording on my iphone it is essential that I email myself the stuff right after capturing it.. or else I forget about recording it

Why use IMAP when google supports MS Exchange on iPhone? You get mail, calendar AND contacts synchronized over-the-air in your iPhone. On mac 10.6 calendar and address book sync takes 2 minutes to set-up. No need to sync thru iTunes anymore — which is lenghty and tedious and affects how effective you are

The thing is that many people (including myself) still love doing NEW resolutions for a NEW year… but the failure rate is just too big so we’re trying to approach this in a more “reasonable” and GTD way.

My thing is to not even deal with New Year’s resolutions at all. Simply change as needed once you have the time and ability to. No need to wait for the start of the year, it can be February, August or November, who cares. Just change when you can.

It helps me a lot – on my Mac – my inbox folder is my Downloads folder – and I have an action in Nozbe that repeats every week… to clear this folder and zero it out… for the weekly review.
