Hi Michael,
after following your activities for quite a while I finally have to post a comment.
For me you are a good example of some key concepts I found relevant to strive after:
*) If you want to do something, then …
… start everything,
… start now,
… start small.
*) Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly at first.
(taken from Barbara Sher)
Don’t get this wrong – I’m certain you put a lot of effort into your work, and the output shows for itself!
I just really like the touch of imperfectness, because it’s real (at least I think it is) and not acted. But focusing on the positive instead of the negative (actually there is no negative in the brain, try to not think of something), I see what I try to accomplish every day:
You put out videos, in addition to all your other daily work. They are not perfect, sterile studio-atmosphere stuff, and you don’t get stopped by minor details. You do something different all the time, trying something new. This is what impresses me.
Anyway, that’s what I wanted to say.
Looking forward to reading the just-downloaded issue.
Keep it up!
Max

Thanks for your comment, Max!
Really appreciate it. Sincere comments like these keep me going.
You know Max, I just enjoy doing all these things. I learn in the process and I enjoy the “learning process” as such. I strongly believe that only people who actually get something done achieve success, whereas people who strive for perfection, very often fail to start int the first place.
Hope that my lack of perfection doesn’t get in the way of making my point across and hope that you do get the benefits of the advice I try to give with these videos, the magazine and my web app
What can I say? I’m just loving the process and I’m enjoying each step of the way. I think your comment deserves an entire blog post
Thanks and enjoy the magazine!

Michael,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note and tell you how amazing your current issue is (issue 4)!
As I scanned down the content of this issue EVERY article peeked my interest. I have read about 25% of it so far and I will be reading the remainder by the end of the day.
I work from home and am well aware that I need to improve my productivity, or my goals will not be met as soon, or at all, as I hope. Productivity is something that is on my mind constantly.
Daily I face many of the challenges (of working from home) that your publication addresses.
I look forward to your future issues. Keep up the outstanding work and I thank you.
All the best,
Michael

Michael,
Great video and I will check out the other site you mentioned. Keep up the good work.
Your effort you put into your online presentation was good, I know personally I am a little shy if I know its going to be recorded.

I’m shy, too, but it just needs to get done.
Let’s see how my other videos work out here, I’ll be working on those a lot more now. Thanks for your comments Ian!
